About Charles...
Brought up in Wensleydale, Charles Mawer joined a Lloyds Motor Syndicate as a trainee underwriter in 1987. He moved into the claims settlement team of this Lloyds Underwriter before joining an Independent firm of Insurance Brokers in 1990.
Working firstly in the claims team he moved into the broking team before becoming an Account Executive in 1993, servicing Commercial Clients throughout Yorkshire and the North East.
Over the past 30 years Charles has expanded the geography to servicing clients throughout the UK covering all industries, from sole traders to large companies employing 50+ staff. Specialising in commercial insurances for all sectors covering Agriculture, Construction, Manufacturing, import/export, Haulage, Retail and Professional Services.
Living on a small farm with his partner Diane, Charles has two grown up sons and enjoys working on the farm, shooting and socialising.
